If you are interested in poetry, join the Poetry Society of Michigan and automatically become a member of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies. You could have your poems printed in Peninsula Poets, our literary journal published twice a year. You will receive a quarterly newsletter filled with articles on the craft of writing and publishing poetry, calls for submissions and news from poetry groups across the state. You can enter contests offered on the state level and national level. Our bi-annual meetings in April and October include workshops with poets such as Jack Ridl and John Rybicki.
