There is no entry fee for this contest.
The deadline is April 1, 2027.

Categories: 1 (grades K–3), 2 (grades 4–6), 3 (grades 7–9), 4 (grades 10–12).

Winning poems will be published in a book and distributed locally. An awards ceremony and reading is held in September at the Kalamazoo Public Library. Winning poems may be used in a promotional capacity.
