If you have a passion for poetry, consider joining the Poetry Society of Michigan. Membership includes automatic enrollment in the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, expanding your connection to poets nationwide.
As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to submit your work for publication in Peninsula Poets, our biannual literary journal. You’ll also receive a quarterly newsletter featuring articles on the craft of writing and publishing poetry, calls for submissions, and updates from poetry groups across the state.
Members are invited to enter poetry contests at both the state and national levels. Additionally, our semiannual meetings—held each April and October—offer enriching workshops led by acclaimed poets like Jack Ridl and John Rybicki.
Memberships renew in October of each year.
